A Re-Cap of Adhesif Clothing's F/W 12 at Vancouver Eco Fashion Week

Seeing as it's been just over a month since Adhesif Clothing walked the runways of Vancouver Eco Fashion Week with our Fall-Winter 2012 Collection, we thought it would be a great time to re-cap some of what's to come in the next season....Our theme for this collection is "Big City Lights" and was inspired by my most recent trip to Germany & France

....First up on the runway our "Uptown Vest & Crosstown Tights"

Next up our "Destination Dress" a great little layering piece made with reclaimed jersey knit with cute little shoulder eppaulet applique pieces...so easy to wear AND with pockets!

No fall is complete without cute wool cardigans! I practically live in them. This one is a re-worked piece made from reclaimed cashmere & lambswool sweaters...not to mention leather shorts! I saw Parisienne ladies rocking these out everywhere in Paris...

Here's a more polished take on the traditional cardigan, our "J-Walk Cardigan".  The body has more of a jacket like feel. Complete with cute contrast elbow patches. The body is lined and made from reclaimed Melton wool, the sleeves are made from reclaimed cashmere & lambswool sweaters and topped off with a mash up of oversized vintage buttons. CUTE!

How about a cute military wool jacket re-worked into a vest with a haute reclaimed fur trimmed collar?

Check out our leg garters & leg warmers made from the legs of men's wool longjohn's! Ha! now that's a twist! Sexy granny chic!

Our sinature reworked sweater dresses are perfect for those blustery mornings? Cozy, practical and chic...

This gorgeous aubergine sweater dress ensemble (below) sports a reworked vintage blazer turned into a cropped vest with a vintage fur trimmed collar...

This reclaimed tweed tunic style "Railway Romper" delivers style and will be sure to channel the mod in you!

Got a love for tartan? Go all out and pair the above look with a matching "Box Car Coat"
Details include an asymetrical collar with contrast, pockets, elbow patches and a detachable/reversible u-shaped piece on the back that  keeps the box pleat open or closed...

OOooooh...for the love of plaid! Check out this beauty! A re-worked 1960's fur trimmed blazer with our "Cross Town Tights" HOT...

Our "Cityscape Skirt" & "Uptown Vest" combo...yes the peplum of this skirt is made from men's dress shirts...

A re-worked sweater with "City Scape Skirt"...

We LOVE our reworked vintage blazers...what a great way to add a bit of retro flare and personality to any cute little black dress ensemble or kick up the casual chic vibe...
Last but not least our final outfit...a tan version of the jersey "Destination Dress" with a reworked vintage fur vest (which was actually originally used as a coat liner)
The fabulous beaded headpiece, as well as all other jewellery seen in this collection was custom created by Christi York of Buneo Style. Christi uses vintage and antique costume jewellery and found components to create her amazing line of ornamental excellence...
We would also like to extend  HUGE love to Denise Wilson of Bronsino for the gorgeous leather bags & belts seen here on our F/W 12 runway looks as well as Fluevog shoes for finishing off our looks with their delectable homegrown footsy candy!! YUM!

Check out our on-line shop as many of the items shown here are posted or will be posted for direct purchase. As always everything is handmade with love and is one-of-a-kind...you know what that means?! Snooze and you loose ;)
