This is one Summer Sidewalk Sale you won't want to miss! Mark your calendars!
Main Street shop owners Adhesif Clothing and Forsya Boutique have teamed up to organize a day of free family fun from 11am-7:30pm on August 20th

Jive to live covers of The Beatles and Bob Dylan by delta blues slide
guitarist Rob Bertrand while the wee ones visit the lemonade stand, eat
...sweet treats by Sprout Vegan Bakery, and pick up a candy bag.

There will be face painting for the kiddies and grown-ups,chuckles
Melissa Ferreira of Adhesif Clothing, who insists it is only fair that the
adults can play too!

We'll also have major steals and deals on everything
from vintage clothing, shoes, accessories, and more.

Joining the Adhesif Clothing and Forsya Boutique duo for the Summer Sidewalk Sale will be local Vancouver designers like Mortar and Pestle and Little Houses...

Seagull Iris Dress by "Little Houses"

Darwin Jewelry...

Jewellry by Bianca Barr...

 Daub and Design...

Fiveleft...

and Schaart Clothing...

Summer designs will be up to 50% off and designs from previous collections
will be discounted as much as 70% off, says Melissa, who promises that many items will be $50 or less, just like the annual Nifty for Fifty Sale.

Look for coveted summer pieces like the Bandeaux Halter Swimsuit by Daub and Design, the New Girl Tote by Fiveleft, and the floral Libby frock by Dru's Design. Take a stroll down the beach in the summery yellow Birds of Flight Dress by Ashley Zaba or picnic in print-happy pieces like the Lily Dress, Flora Shorts, or Buttercup Dress by Adhesif Clothing.

It will be so fun to collaborate with my neighbour, says Forsya Boutique's
Julie Hebb, who is excited for the Summer Side Walk Sale happening on August 20 from 11am to 7:30pm at the corner of Main and 6th Ave!

Etsy and all its Splendor!

OK...I admit it...I am an Etsy-o-holic...
As far as I'm concerned why go anywhere else for all things handmade & style worthy?
You can find everything from vintage collectables to home decor as well as some pretty excellent one of a kind fashion finds like fancy lids for your noggin! Ooooh la la...

I've scored some pretty sweet vintage frames like these red 1960's Rayban's below. Some of the nicest vintage glasses I've ever seen, I've found on Esty...

...and me oh my...the vintage dresses!!

Did I happen to mention all of the amazing ART?? Everything from eclectic to modern, I absolutely fell in love with these 1960's inspired pieces below...

...and mini functional books as necklaces...
why the heck not?

...I also recently discovered a really awesome label, from my hometown Montreal, called "Norwegian Wood"
Not only is that one of my fave Beatles songs but I also feel totally connected to their mix of patterns and textures, bonus cool points on the syling too. Here are 3 of my fave looks...

...also coo-coo for "QooQoo Fashion"

I could go on for hours upon hours...
